Uniting Voices for Health Equity

Supporting strategic efforts to expand the reach and impact of a global health equity movement, with a focus on building a more inclusive and gender-responsive healthcare systems. Efforts span policy, workforce, and service delivery reform across Singapore and the broader South and Southeast Asia region. Current scope includes managing member engagement and external communications, supporting the curation of knowledge-sharing events, dialogues and panels discussions and fundraisers.

Upcoming initiatives include launching a podcast series to capture the stories and lived experiences of thought leaders in global health. The series will explore the transformative impact of women in leadership—highlighting how inclusive and accessible approaches have shaped their work, and reflecting on the broader systemic underrepresentation of women, from clinical trials to senior decision-making roles. Episodes will dive into personal journeys, including the challenges women face in stepping into leadership—navigating social and cultural conditioning, workplace hierarchies, and a lack of clear pathways, particularly in the Singapore context. Through these conversations, the series will spotlight what it takes to create real change: strong mentorship, vocal champions, and intentional initiatives—from inclusive lab cultures to regional advocacy efforts—that are helping pave the way for more women to lead in global health.
